If You Fail To Plan…
You Plan To Fail!
This one is from the “tough love” section. It is blunt, straight forward and profound.
You might be thinking “That’s ridiculous! Who plans to fail!” and you’d be right… at a conscious level.
But what about at the subconscious level? The part of your mind that knows if you don’t start… you can’t fail. The part of you that’s trying to protect you. It controls more of your thinking and behavior than you may realize.
I knew that for me, “almost good enough” wasn’t going to cut it! It gave me excuses to “goof” off. I needed to fill up the holes in my time management and be more accountable.
This doesn’t mean I am a “time-Nazi!” In fact, I am more relaxed because I can see what’s coming and what I have room for.
I have 5 sections available for projects and once they are filled… clients have to wait until the next space is open. The first project section is always taken up by my own project(s) for my own business.
This way I prioritize my own business first. (Copywriters are like the plumber who has a leaky tap! We often write our own copy last or not at all.)
Because I am a paper and pen person… I have the sheets bound on the left hand side so I can use the back of the sheet as note paper.
Remember… “If You Fail To Plan, You Plan To Fail!”
It’s time to plan your success.
Here’s to your success!
Cheers,
Pauline xxx
